fear of the mirror
we're all looking in
never eating a morsel of food
ribs shine through my t-shirt

don't want to do what you tell me
fear is control
and you've wound me up tight
this mirror is my master

do I obey?
do you say
I hear mean and nasty
things shout at me

no more strength, I give up
sitting on the side lines
making side comments and smirks
I'm down 60 pounds from the start of this experiment

is it worth it now?
to go on living this half life
no strength
no personality
